On 30/1/2009, RC gave a talk in Oldenburg, and by video link to Magdeburg, on "The role of sensory and parietal cortices in auditory and visual short-term memory"

Michele Veldsman appointed

Michele will be working to evaluate a new strategy for real-time FMRI acquisition. She will begin on October 27.

Daniel Mitchell starts 1 year contract

Danny is in the final stages of his PhD and has just started a 1 year contract to study visual short term memory and object representations.

Annika Linke starts

Annika arrived on October 6 to begin a PhD studying auditory and visual short-term memory.

AVG highly commended in national science writing competition

Independent/Bosch Technology Horizons essay
AVG's essay on the way Technology and Engineering drive change in a country of his choice made it to the shortlist, and won a "Highly Commended" prize.

Michele Veldsman starts

Michele started on Monday on a 10 week post to look at visual short term memory and attention. Michele has been working at Duke University and starts a PhD later in the year.
